Founded in 1989 by Stefa Hart, Hambleton Decorating is an interior decorating & design practice based in Rutland, in the heart of the UK.

Our work covers the hotel, restaurant, private club & residential sectors, where we have a breadth of knowledge in period houses.

The core strength of the business is interior decoration.   Following a client brief, we create schemes and visualisations for how a building can be transformed, and then follow this through to installation.

Stefa’s style is elegant, both in a town or country setting, achieved through the use of opulent fabrics & beautiful furniture; blending antique pieces alongside modern finishes & fittings, to create an interior that is comfortable & practical.

Our projects to date have ranged from private stately homes, through to hotels, private members clubs, restaurants and, most recently, an 83m motor-yacht.

We work throughout the UK, and have also completed projects in Switzerland & the South of France.
